![]() Charles and Evelyn Anderson call Wrightsville Beach their "adopted home" and are pleased that they were able to find a great property in the popular coastal community. Retired five years now from positions in federal government, the Andersons split their time between their home near Washington, DC, and their "little piece of heaven" at Wrightsville. They especially enjoy its proximity to theater, the arts, fine restaurants, and upscale shopping in nearby Wilmington, as well as the easy accessibility of the area from interstates 95 and 40. The rest of the Andersons' family gathers from across the Southeast a couple of times a year, bringing grandkids, nieces, and nephews together in a place they all love. There is plenty to occupy the younger ones – from the beach to water parks, shops, and movies – and a relaxing atmosphere that gives everyone a chance to reconnect. The Andersons' home, with its marvelous views of the ocean and its spacious porches where family members spend much of their time, is perfect for building the kinds of memories Charles and Evelyn want them all to have.
